Abstract

In this research, the evaluation of the energy regeneration process from the engine to the batteries for electric vehicles of the Zero Emission program of the Luis Rogerio González Higher Technological Institute is carried out. The review and analysis of the theoretical framework allow selecting an experimental methodology for data recording, an electronic battery monitoring system (bms) is used to obtain the voltage, current and temperature delivered by each of the battery packs, when driving on an established route with the electric vehicle. The data obtained is processed and the voltage and current graphs are made. Finally, the behavior of the regenerative brake in different circumstances is detailed, with emphasis on the power values that would be the contribution that the regeneration of energy delivers to the batteries.
