Abstract

This paper proposes the design and implementation of a home automation control system with security applications and energy management, considering the following specifications: the prototype consists of a security system (basic alarm) and control of lighting circuits, and outlets. The control and monitoring interfaces for the home automation system are: a matrix key-pad, a liquid crystal display, a mobile device, a laptop or a Tablet, the interconnection proposed for communication bet-ween devices uses wireless technology such as: Bluetooth in conjunction with the development of an application for mobile device with android operating system and the inforation processing system or home automation center will be performed by a microcontroller board based on ATmega2560, called Arduino Mega.
